In addition to working the sideline and reporting weather at Chicago sporting events, Freeze visits about 10,000 Chicago area students each year, giving weather presentations on tornadoes and severe weather. While in Philadelphia, the Indiana native would travel to New York City to fill in for the “Weekend Today Show”. Freeze later moved to Denver where she worked at KWGN and ABC affiliate KMGH before moving to Philadelphia and working for NBC’s WCAU for four years.
